The word 'Bar' has many definition but we are concerned with two and they are,
1. A unit of pressure equal to a million dyne per square centimeter.
2. Measure, a notation for a repeating pattern of musical beats..
Bar as you can see, is a unit of pressure or a measure, when it is been applied to phones it becomes bar. Some phones have six bars, some five bar while some have only three bar depending on the manufacturers of the phone. Nokia, Tecno and few series of Motorola phones batteries do last longer than majority of the phones in our market today but all the same, my major concern here is how many bar is left in your phone to make serious call in a dangerous situations?
There is this friend whom hired assassins were pursuing, he dodged them at several bend and finally he escaped into a dilapidated house thinking he was now safe, he picked up his phone to call a friend who will come and pick him from that environment; as he opened the
phone it was remaining just but one bar; with his eagerness so as to leave that environment, he still decided to make the call, as he dial the number, he heard a bim with the 'voice low battery', what else can he do in that situation? The question here is, 'Why low battery at this pointing time?', it was because, before this time he was busy playing games with his phone.
The word of God said in Roman 3:23, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God".
The more you use your phone the more your battery reduces in strength if not charged, the more the life spam reduces; so also the more you commit sins and live aside God, the more your life spam and the glory of God reduces in your life. May I ask you this simple question, 'How many bar remains in your life?'.
Things that can reduce the bar of your life spam.
1. Sex. This is one of the dangerous thing that reduces ones life spam; if you read through the Bible, it was recorded in Genesis of the men of old, who married at the age of 70 who knew no woman before this time and they live up to 200 - 965years; but today, there many under 12years who are mothers and fathers of children; how many years will he/she spend in life if they start discharging early age? Reason it by yourself. Indiscriminate sex is still another factor that can still affect your life spam. You are not contended with your wife / husband, you go about roughing yourself, ok, the end shall tell. It is not enjoyment but rather destruction to your life spam.
2. Smoking. Many don't even consider what they are about doing before doing it; the company wrote clearly on the pack, 'Tobacle smoking is dangerous to your health and are liable to die young'. How many of you read this? One thing I see in smoking is that, where water cannot pass through in you vessels, the smoke do, that is why is can destroy any cells without obstruction any ones life.
3. Drinking. Thank God that, this is gradually reducing in Nigeria settings unlike before, where many are being carried from gutter after much alcoholic drinks and they couldn't find their way back home but still some are now addicted to it. A friend just told man there a man who was sacks from their company because of his habit of alcoholism, the company have many quarreled him but proof adamant and at the end he was dropped, What is he going to tell his wife and children at home? You should answer that.
4. Stealing. Today stealing is almost no more offense in our settings because almost everybody is now a thief. Before we only have common thieves but now robbers, license robbers and kidnapers and more dangerous among all are thieves in the office who uses their pen to charge figures with one or two zeros.

Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, sedition, heresies, Envying, murders, drunkenness, reveling, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God; also added is what Roman 1:18, "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four footed beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshiped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them".
My friend how much do say before you reflect your life to know how many bars remains in your life spam.
My friend, there is remedy to your situations. Jesus said, John 15:4 - 8
4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
The simple way to abide in Him is for you to give your life to God and will sufficient for you. If you are ready then knee down and pray this prayer of faith,
Say
Lord Jesus,
Have mercy on me
I am a sinner destined to destruction
But I come to you today
Forgive me all my sins
And accept me as you child
As I accept you into my life today
I accept you as my personal lord and saviour today
And I confess to serve you from now on in Jesus name, Amen.
