There are
many things that are cheap in our society which are normal and no body have any thing to say about it but
the subject I am speaking about now calls for immediate attention if not, the
world will be facing out as it is even already doing.
When
certain things are cheap we celebrate it saying, “Common man can now go for
it”, e.g. when the price of car falls down, when the price of fuel falls down,
when the price of Garri or food(s) falls down, when the price of house rent
falls down, when the price of home theater and other electronics falls down,
when the price of handset falls down, when the price of transportation of all
types falls down etc people rejoiced because that is what the common man is
praying for.
Price
control most time could come from the Government or the producers of the
products but the issue on ground is not so, the subject is WOMAN IS TOO CHEAP.
Before Adam
could get Eve the first woman ever, God considered it necessary that Adam
needed a wife and it took God time to Induced Adam with sleeping injection,
operated on Adam, took one of Adam’s ribs, closed operated side, form Eve with
that single rib taken from Adam and then present her to Adam of which when Adam
saw Eve, He leap for joy and exclaimed, “This is the bone of my bone and the
flesh of my flesh and she shall be called a woman because she was taken from
me. Gen 2: 23. Considering this, is
woman cheap?
Those
generations and dispensations passed and today generation, how are women
presenting themselves in the public today? Many articles have been written
about the value of a woman, dignity of a woman, the role of a woman, and the
important of a woman but with all these stressful works of men and women to
sensitize women, how many of them stand to maintain those values?
In African
culture, women are highly regarded because of their motherly role they play
both in the home and in the society at large but because of the white man
culture that is almost swallowing up African culture, in the name of
civilization women are now making themselves very, very and very cheap. The
pride of virginity is no more in our society, and this is no more problem to
any family whereas in those days, after a women is betrothed to a man, after
all the Bride price has been paid, the Groom and the Bride is given a decorated
and beautified bed dress in white to have their first Sex, the blood stain on
the bed proved that the Bride is still a virgin and this is a great honour to
the family but today do we still see that? If all the Bride giving in marriage
today is proof this way how many of them will be found virgin? Answer by
yourself.
The most
painful thing today is that, women no longer think about their dignity all they
need is money and with this, they have lost their virginity for money.
Just
consider the following:
A woman had
sex with a man because she wanted two hundred Naira only.
A woman had
sex with a guy because she wanted to eat suya meat
A woman had
sex with a guy because she wants to eat chewing gum
A woman had
sex with a police officer to release his brother from cell
A woman had
sex with a lecturer just to give her pass mark
A woman had
sex with a manager just to get a contract
A woman had
sex with a man just to give her a lift
A woman had
sex with an agent just to get accommodation apartment
A woman had
sex with a man to get a job
A woman had
sex with a man to show she had agreed to marry the man; marriages are now
becoming test and buy issue.
A man had a
free accommodation apartment because the landlady had asked him to pay his rent
with having sex with her. Etc.
All of
these are detrimental to the dignity of women and women are making themselves
harlots because it is harlot that gets pay to have sex with and this have
hindered many from getting married today. Harlots are waste bin where all
unwanted dirt’s are thrown into.
Girls,
Ladies, Women ZIP-UP and men do not
have any option than to control themselves and come legally to marry you than
for you to open your legs all the time to receive dirt’s, what a shame.
Don’t make
yourself too cheap to get, God valued you, the society valued you, your parents
valued you, you should value yourself and you will get the full reward.
