There are many living under the curse or curses of
the father as a result of this, they have not in any way excel in life; any
time they feel they have put everything they feel that can make them prosper
and are almost getting to their miracle or receiving a breakthrough in life,
suddenly, everything come back to square zero, this is as a result of the curse
of the father. With this we have to dig out what
curse is. From the following sources
curse is defined as follows:
Curse is an evil prayer; a malevolent appeal to a supernatural being
for harm to come to somebody or something, or the harm that is thought to
result from this. Microsoft Encarta, Microsoft

Curse is a solemn
invocation of divine wrath on a person or thing. English Explanatory Dictionary
Curse has the
capability of hindering ones progress, place limitation on one’s life, bring
set back on someone life, affliction and even death and this could linger to
forth generations to come.
From the Biblical point
of view, the following passages of the scripture have something to tell us.
Gen. 49:3 – 4
"Reuben, you are
my firstborn, My might and the beginning of my strength, The excellency of
dignity and the excellency of power. Unstable as water, you shall not excel,
Because you went up to your father's bed; Then you defiled it -He went up to my
couch.
This was how Jacob
curse his own son and from there till many generations, the curse afflicted Reuben
and his descendants for a very long time until Moses came to the scene; and at
the time Moses find out, been the prophet of God full of the anointing of God,
He revoke the cures in Deuteronomy 33:6 saying, "Let Reuben live, and not
die, Nor let his men be few." It was after this, that the Reubenites saw
life.
Noah was another man
who cursed his son Canaan, because he didn’t cover his father nakedness. Gen.
9:24, 25. So Noah awoke from his wine,
and knew what his younger son had done to him. Then he said: "Cursed be
Canaan; A servant of servants He shall be to his brethren."
Canaan is the son of
Ham, and grandson of Noah, Gen 9:18. Canaan numerous posterities seems to have
occupied Zidon first, and thence spread into Syria and Canaan, read Gen
10:15-19. Canaan begot Sidon his firstborn, and Heth; 16 the Jebusite, the
Amorite, and the Girgashite; 17 the Hivite, the Arkite, and the Sinite; 18 the
Arvadite, the Zemarite, and the Hamathite. Afterward the families of the
Canaanites were dispersed. 19 And the border of the Canaanites was from Sidon
as you go toward Gerar, as far as Gaza; then as you go toward Sodom, Gomorrah,
Admah, and Zeboiim, as far as Lasha. 20 These were the sons of Ham, according
to their families, according to their languages, in their lands and in their
nations
The Jews believe that
he was implicated with his father in the dishonor done to Noah, Ge 9:20-27,
which was the occasion of the curse under which he and his posterity suffered. "Now
therefore, you are cursed, and none of you shall be freed from being
slaves-woodcutters and water carriers for the house of my God." And that
day Joshua made them woodcutters and water carriers for the congregation and
for the altar of the LORD, in the place which He would choose, even to this
day. Jos 9:23, 27.
Noah curse on Canaan
placed his descendants on a perpetual slavery till date. Curse is not in any
way good.
Let me share my
experience with you of what happen to two persons. I was on my way to the church
one faithful day when I saw a child crying sitting by the way side looking rejected
and dejected, I felt compassion on the child and I went close to him and asked
him what the problem is? He said, ‘He failed in his school, he took the last position
in the class and with that the mother beat him and also drove him from the
house, and same time the mother is fun of telling him that he will always fail
and now that he failed, the mother said he will still fail and continue to fail’.
On hearing these from him, I asked him if he likes the way he used to fail and
he said, “No”.
I advised him and asked
him to take me to the mother. As soon as the mother saw me coming with child,
she came out with a pestle in her hand saying, “He must not come close if not I
will kill him” this she said with all furiousness but I still proceed putting
child behind me while I move to her with soft word that gradually cool her mind
and she allowed me in.
At the time she gave me
audience I asked her what the problem is. She said, “He is a failure and failure
he will always be”. I told her there is no child born to be failure that, the
boy will never fail again. Immediately I said that, she got up went straight to
the boy grasped the boy’s head and pressing it down saying, “He head is a coconut
head”, so I got up to rescue him from her hand and said to her; Madam, you are
the cause for the failure of this child and she asked, “How”. I went further to
tell her that, the curse she pronounce on the child have the capability of
hindering the child even though he put all effort to make, just because of the
curse you always invoke on his head, he can never excel but if she will listen
to me and follow what I said he should do from henceforth, the child will not
fail in life any, and she asked, what will she do? I told her first of all to rinse
her mouth with water, which she, then second put water in her mouth And pour it
on the head of the boy and pray to cancel all the curse she has in any way
pronounced on the child, this she did and thirdly, she should never in any way
curse child again even if she want to curse she should bless instead. After these,
I prayed for the child and I left but the mother watching the child and from
then hence, the boy’s life change and started behaving well. To my greatest surprise,
the following term this boy took first out of fifty three students. It was the
mother who came to me to tell me the news and from there the mother gave her
life to God that, God is the want who brought me on her way.
At another occasion, I went
on special assignment on one of our church where I preached on the power of the
tongue, after the message, a lady came to the alter and was crying bitterly
even after we have shared the grace of fellowship she was still crying; not
willing to live her, I went close to her and asked her what was the reason she
was crying? Said, “All that you preached today are all for me, all the problems
I am passing were revealed today through you”. I asked how? Then she continued
with her stories.
“I am thirty two years
old, married for seven years now, at the time I was about getting married to my
husband, my father refused me marrying him but everybody was in support of the
marriage, my mother even sent relatives to beg him and asked him why he was refusing
her marrying to the man, he said, “No reason”. But because both of them were in
love, and everybody except was the only one against the marriage, but went
ahead and marry and my father said, in sorrow will I perpetually be in my
marriage, since then, I have never in any way since then enjoyed the marriage. My
husband made a punching bag, my husband work with one of these oil servicing
company offshore, any time he comes home is fight and beat on me and by next
weekend he will be coming and I don’t know what to do. But the very reason why I am crying is that,
my father died after nine month of my marriage, what do I do now and who do go
to, to revoke this curse?
Hearing this, I was
confused not knowing what to do for about ten minutes, I went to the alter
knelt down and prayed asking God what I should do immediately God spoke to me
and I went back to her asking her the father’s name which she told me and as
God said I should do, I assumed the name and asked her to call me her father
which she did and with that, I revoked the curse that was placed on her by the father
and there she fell under the anointing after about five minutes she got up full
of sweat all over her body with a, “Shout I am free”. And she went home but God
took over from there.
After the prayer in the
church, God broke the yoke also from the husband in offshore, the scale fell
from his eyes and right from there he started asking according to the testimony,
“Where is my wife, where is my wife?”, the other staff tried to comfort him but
he refused to be comforted saying “I Want to see my wife”. Finally they flew
him back to Warri as soon as he drop, he went to the market bought seven set of
wrappers complete suite to match and came to the wife kneeling before her and
saying, “Please my wife forgive me, I don’t know what really happen to me,
please forgive me” with cry both of them embraces themselves, today the
marriage is blessed with four boy and a girl.
My good people of God,
are you living under curse, God can deliver you if you are willing?
If you are living under
curse please do the following:
- Meet your father or mother who pronounce the curse on you in respective of your personality.
- Take wine along to him or her
- Kneel down before him/her and ask for forgiveness if there be or not anywhere you have done wrong.
- Ask him/her to pray for you.
- Go to the church and ask the pastor to pray for you but you must tell him the reason for the prayer; this is to confirm revocation of the curse placed on you.
- On the other side, if the person is no more alive as it happen to the lady I just told you of, then, meet an anointed man of God with a seed in your hand, tell him your story, and ask him to pray to revoke the curse, that will bring you your freedom.
TO ALL PARENTS.
Have you at any time
cursed your children? Then you must call them and pray to revoke the curses and
wish them good instead of curse because, if it is well with them, it will be well
with you, but if not well with them you will never get anything from them.
Don’t ever call your
child goat or pronounce any curse on them and you will enjoy them. Thanks and
