KNOWN BY GOD

If any man love God, the same is known of him. 1Cor. 8:3.
In our world today everybody is fighting to be known either in international level, national level and state level so as get opportunity to climb higher or to get connected with the power that be.
Some of these connection are for good reasons while others are for dubious reasons; but whichever way everyone want to be known and get connected. The most important thing is
that, Who know you and who are you connected to?

Who know you?
People bragged about those who knows them, sometimes this almost blown off their head Because they are carried away with the ideas that, "I am good friend to Mr. President, Mr. Senator, the Governor Chief of Army Defense, Commissioner of police or any of those big boss behind them". These ideas have made many began to do things again humanity having the mind that they have Mr. President, Mr. Senator, the Governor the Chief of Army Defense, Commissioner of police or any of those big boss behind them". Some even say it openly, saying, "Do you know me, do know my connection".
You may fight to be known by all these prominent people but are you known by God. The word of God says in 1Cor 15:19, "If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable".

Mat. 16:26
What is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

You fight to be known by men in order to gain earthly possession make wealth of all sought and yet Heaven didn't know you, what then is you gain?
Popularity is good but where and why are you popular? Every popularity goes with pride and trouble evident it as side effects.
Jesus gave a life story in the Bible book of Luke 19:16ff saying, "There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:
28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

The rich man here had great possession and popularity but went to hell because he was not known by God; but that of Lazarus, though he was poor yet he knew God and God knew him even when he is not popular according to world standard.

In 11 Sam 14:25 - 36, reads, "But in all Israel there was none to be so much praised as Absalom for his beauty: from the sole of his foot even to the crown of his head there was no blemish in him.
26 And when he polled his head, (for it was at every year's end that he polled it: because the hair was heavy on him, therefore he polled it:) he weighed the hair of his head at two hundred shekels after the king's weight.
27 And unto Absalom there were born three sons, and one daughter, whose name was Tamar: she was a woman of a fair countenance.
28 So Absalom dwelt two full years in Jerusalem, and saw not the king's face.
29 Therefore Absalom sent for Joab, to have sent him to the king; but he would not come to him: and when he sent again the second time, he would not come.
30 Therefore he said unto his servants, See, Joab's field is near mine, and he hath barley there; go and set it on fire. And Absalom's servants set the field on fire.
31 Then Joab arose, and came to Absalom unto his house, and said unto him, Wherefore have thy servants set my field on fire?
32 And Absalom answered Joab, Behold, I sent unto thee, saying, Come hither, that I may send thee to the king, to say, Wherefore am I come from Geshur? it had been good for me to have been there still: now therefore let me see the king's face; and if there be any iniquity in me, let him kill me.
33 So Joab came to the king, and told him: and when he had called for Absalom, he came to the king, and bowed himself on his face to the ground before the king: and the king kissed Absalom.
2 Sam 15:2 - 6
2 And Absalom rose up early, and stood beside the way of the gate: and it was so, that when any man that had a controversy came to the king for judgment, then Absalom called unto him, and said, Of what city art thou? And he said, Thy servant is of one of the tribes of Israel.
3 And Absalom said unto him, See, thy matters are good and right; but there is no man deputed of the king to hear thee.
4 Absalom said moreover, Oh that I were made judge in the land, that every man which hath any suit or cause might come unto me, and I would do him justice!
5 And it was so, that when any man came nigh to him to do him obeisance, he put forth his hand, and took him, and kissed him.
6 And on this manner did Absalom to all Israel that came to the king for judgment: so Absalom stole the hearts of the men of Israel.
As you can see from these passages, Absalom want to be known by all and began by stealing the heart of the people from King David his father; at the end of all his tricks he over thrown his father just for two days in the name of popularity and fame; but read what happen in 2 Sam 18:9 - 15, it reads;
"And Absalom met the servants of David. And Absalom rode upon a mule, and the mule went under the thick boughs of a great oak, and his head caught hold of the oak, and he was taken up between the heaven and the earth; and the mule that was under him went away.
10 And a certain man saw it, and told Joab, and said, Behold, I saw Absalom hanged in an oak.
11 And Joab said unto the man that told him, And, behold, thou sawest him, and why didst thou not smite him there to the ground? and I would have given thee ten shekels of silver, and a girdle.
12 And the man said unto Joab, Though I should receive a thousand shekels of silver in mine hand, yet would I not put forth mine hand against the king's son: for in our hearing the king charged thee and Abishai and Ittai, saying, Beware that none touch the young man Absalom.
13 Otherwise I should have wrought falsehood against mine own life: for there is no matter hid from the king, and thou thyself wouldest have set thyself against me.
14 Then said Joab, I may not tarry thus with thee. And he took three darts in his hand, and thrust them through the heart of Absalom, while he was yet alive in the midst of the oak.
15 And ten young men that bare Joab's armour compassed about and smote Absalom, and slew him.

Absalom in process of pursuing his father king David, he was caught by an Oak tree which hanged him between heaven and earth; the earth rejected him and heaven also rejected him. The question still goes, "Are you known by God?"

How are you known?
How you known is also very important because everyone is known by his action. Proverbs 20:11 says, "Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work be pure, and whether it be right."

Are you known as criminal or good person, a friend or a fiend?

May God help us!

Are you strongling to be known?
Strongling to be known is dangerous because when you start it, you will implore any means possible to achieve your goals. ritual, Robbery, kignapping cocaine/ drugs pushing, stealing and many more will be among those things you will be doing. Strongling to be known will make you a slave.
Romans 6:16 reads; "Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?"

If you are known by bad person then you are bad and if are known by good person then you good. Who are your bosses or leaders that you are pressing hard to be known by them? Please leap before you jumps!

Let God know you.
The best person that should know you is God, and before you can know God there are conditions or ways that you must follow and they are as follows:
You must repent of your sins
You must be born again
You must acknowledge Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour
You must deflate yourself of all evil and pride.
You must take up your cross and follow daily.
You must love God with the whole of your life.

In 1Cor. 8:3
If any man love God, the same is known of him.

Mat 22:37 - 38.
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.

You are lost if God didn't know you.
Mat 7:21 - 23 reads,
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

You may have done great things to your community, state, Nation and the church that wouldn't make God know you; you may even been sleeping in the church or do all the works in the church, these are not the basics, just take the six steps mentioned about that will sufix you.

The question still stands, ARE YOU KNOWN BY GOD OR BY MEN?

Pray for yourself this moment don't postpone your salvation.
